Ruby on Rails (RoR) is an open source web application framework that is written using the Ruby programming language. RoR follows the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture. RoR enables applications to be developed in a faster and simpler manner and is considered the ideal framework for mid to large sized web applications. RoR is becoming increasingly popular with the developer community mainly because of its ease use.
